One of the all time greats, and a C hicago legend. Pretty good golfer, too.

He will be missed.

Oh, man. I learned to love Blackhawks hockey back in the days of Stan Mikita, Bobby Hull and Tony Esposito . That’s a bummer.

RIP Stan Mikita.

He was really quite ill for some time. Probably for the best, sadly.

A bunch of studs, and it’s great that the Blackhawks embraced those guys in recent years.

Sad news, but he was gone a while ago in most ways. RIP.

Yeah it’s one of those times where I like to truly believe he's  in a better place now. He can finally rest.

I guess he donated his brain to CTE research. Hopefully some learning comes from it. He had a rough last few years.

Yeah. I lost my great grandma to Alzheimer’s and it’s such a heartbreaking disease. I know stan had a different form of dementia but it’s really all the same. I remember reading an article where his daughter said they essentially lost him a few years ago and it’s just stomach  wrenching.

It’s very painful for the family. My stepmother lost her mother to Al zheimers, and the last few years, the visits were very difficult. A tough way to go.

Eh, I think Bobby hull could be left in the past. He’s got a pretty well documented history of being a piece of shit.

Makita was before my time as a hockey fan, but I've since learned to appreciate him since watching Wayne's world and wondering if Stan makitas donuts was a real place.

The donut shop isn’t real, but I wondered that for a long time too.

True about Hull - and he’s one of the hardest drinkers you’ll ever meet, too.

Ha I just noticed the white 1st Gen Corvair rolling by right at the beginning of that clip.
